Since a child, Davide showed his great passion and interest for Nature, even if his first photos was not taken in a very ecological situation, as it was a motocross race when he was just 11 years old.
After traveling in Europe and Africa, in 2001 arrived in Botswana, where started a collaboration with a group of ranger in the Okawango Delta, where he had the chance to deepen his knowledge about African animals behavior.
At the same time he began a cooperation with his friend Mauro Burzio, an internationally recognized photographer and anthropologist and in 2005 Davide decided to dedicate his professional life exclusively to travel and photography, focusing his research and his activities in South America, Southern Africa and Mongolia.
In 2006 he joined the group NPS as Nikon photographer.
In 2007 Davide founded the group Nomadphotographers www.nomadphotographers.com, involving the two friends/colleagues Mauro Burzio and Edoardo Miola, in order to promote the activity as documentary photographers around the world.
The same year Davide started in Mongolia a new cooperation with a group of Italian paleontologist Iperboreus – www.iperboreus.it, and with them began to organize photographic workshops.
In 2008 he started working at the realization of advertising campaigns on behalf of the Norwegian Tourism Board and later, for the Italian Ministry for the Environment
In the last 10 years he has collaborated with major magazines and newspapers including: Voyage, Io Donna, Die Welt, Woman Spain, Le Figarò and La nostra Africa.
His photos have been used for many advertising campaigns including: Norwgian Tourist Board, Italian Ministry of Environment and Polaroid.
In 2011, in collaboration with the paleontologist of Iperboreus, founded the website Fattoreulisse www.fattoreulisse.com where are shown all the travel and workshop they organize all around the world.
In 2008 Davide began a new collaboration with the University Politecnico di Torino (Italy), where he regularly holds courses in photojournalism.
He later expanded his knowledge in the field of ethology of African animals, participating in courses for the training of Botswana guides at the center Ecotraining.
In 2017, for the centuary on Nikon in Italy, he has been elected as one of 100 most representative photographers of the last 100 years (mention and photo included in the volume “IT’S A NIKON IT’S AN ICON”)
Currently engaged as Master of Nikon School in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Morocco, Ecuador (Galapagos), Argentina, Chile, Bolivia and Mongolia, where he organizes photographic and cultural journeys.
